Cross-linked polyethylene insulated power cables offer excellent thermal-mechanical performance, outstanding electrical properties, and resistance to chemical corrosion. The insulation of these cables, cross-linked polyethylene, undergoes a chemical and physical transformation from linear molecular structure to three-dimensional network structure, significantly enhancing the thermal-mechanical properties while maintaining excellent electrical performance. These cables can be installed indoors, in tunnels, cable trenches, and conduits, and they can also be buried in loose soil. They are capable of withstanding certain installation tensions and are armored with steel tape to enhance their resistance to compression and withstand external mechanical forces.
