Pre-branching cables are a comprehensive product developed to complement the power supply systems in urban high-rise buildings. They consist of three components: the cable body, branch connection box, and suspension device. Typically, the main cable has a cross-sectional area ranging from 16mm² to 800mm², while the branch cable has a cross-sectional area ranging from 4mm² to 240mm². These cables exhibit excellent air-tightness and waterproofing properties.
To meet the qualification criteria, the branch joints should maintain an insulation resistance of ≥200 MΩ and an AC voltage withstand of ≥3.5kV/5min when immersed in water. Low-smoke, halogen-free cables are considered environmentally friendly. They possess outstanding flame-retardant capabilities and exhibit characteristics such as low toxicity, minimal corrosiveness, and low smoke emission. This means that in the event of a fire, the cables are less prone to burning, effectively preventing the spread of flames. Furthermore, any smoke or toxic gases released during combustion are minimal, minimizing harm to individuals and equipment. This makes it easier for people to evacuate and for rescue operations to take place during fire emergencies.
